Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9:30 amβ4:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (937) 275-7431. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is boonshoft.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 6 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded cafes in Dayton.
Dayton is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dayton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Freshly made food with affordable pricing and options for everyone including kids. Much easier than packing and hauling around snacks and drinks.

This place may have the best sandwiches in Dayton! They have a bonafide chef! My favorite is the chefβs special sweet chili chicken sandwich, but Iβve not had anything there that wasnβt top notch. And itβs inexpensive! Surprisingly, the sell beer and wine (except Sundays).

We always make a point to eat here when we bring the kids to the Boonshoft. Plenty of options for picky eaters, and for adults with broader palates and vegetarians. Eating here completes the Boonshoft experience for sure.

I have gone to the Boonshoft just to eat at this Cafe. They have amazing options, Daily and Weekly specials, and some really amazing sandwiches. This would be a great standalone resturant so the fact that it's in the Museum is an amazing addition.
